March News
Dear Friends and Supporters of Vimokharam,
After some travels in Nepal and Thailand over the last few weeks, I have today happily returned to Vimokkharam. The hermitage will once again be open to visitors each day (now including Thursdays) from 9am - 1pm, with a weekly meditation and chanting meeting each Sunday from 4pm - 6pm (as long as daylight savings lasts).
The community is very pleased to be hosting a visit from Tan Ajahn Khemānando, the former abbot of the hermitage, for the next couple of months. He is planned to arrive late tonight and should be joining us for the meal offering tomorrow.
Tan Ajahn Dtun Thiracitto is also in Melbourne and is currently staying at Nigrodharama Forest Monastery near Seymour. He will be in town for most of the next 2 weeks or so, and we hope to be able to have him here at the hermitage for an as yet unscheduled visit at some point. I will let people know more details when they are available. In the meantime, please do go and see him at his branch monastery near Seymour.
Ajahn Khemānando and I would look forward to seeing many of you here again over the coming weeks.
Very best wishes,
Ajahn Hāsapañño
