Dear Friends and Supporters of Vimokkharam,

 

Venerable Ajahn Dtun will be back in the Melbourne area on Tuesday April 1st, and has plans to come to Vimokkharam on Thursday April 3rd for a friendly visit at around 4pm. It will be a chance for the community here to pay our respects and perhaps receive some informal Dhamma instruction over tea. People are welcome to join us if they are free that day.

 

For the rest of next week Ajahn Dtun will be in Nigrodharama Forest Monastery, including for a large 'Pha Pah' Robe Offering celebration there on Saturday April 5th. Vimokkharam will still be open to visitors next Saturday the 5th, but there will be no monks going on almsround that day.

 

In order to help get the monastery ready for Ajahn Dtun's visit next week, we will be holding a garden working bee this Sunday March 30th from 11am - 1pm, for some light weeding and replanting. As always, anyone is welcome to participate, and to join in the communal meal offering at 10am.
